How to request deletion of your data

Last updated 25 August 2026

This page explains how to have your personal data removed from Gonia. Which route applies depends on how your data got here, so start by working out which of these two you are.

1. Which one are you

You have a Gonia account.

You or your employer signed up to run a business on the platform. Email support@goniacrm.com from the address on the account and say you want it deleted.

A business holds your details in its Gonia CRM.

The usual case: a salon, studio or shop keeps you in its contact list, or you filled in its booking or sign-up page. That business — not Gonia — decides what it holds about you, so ask it first. It can delete your record itself, from inside the app, straight away.

2. Asking us instead

If you would rather not contact the business, or it does not respond, email support@goniacrm.com. We hold that data on the business’s behalf, so we will pass your request on and act on its instruction.

3. What to include

So we can find the right record and be reasonably sure it is you asking: the email address or phone number the record uses, and — if you are asking about a business’s CRM — the name of that business. Write from the address concerned where you can.

4. What happens next

There is no button for this in the app — every request is read and handled by a person. We reply to confirm what was removed.

5. The one thing that is not deleted

Consent records are kept for as long as the business’s account exists, and cannot be edited or deleted by anyone — including us.

They are the evidence of what someone agreed to: the exact wording shown, the channel, the time, and the contact address the consent applies to. That record is what demonstrates a message was permitted, which protects both you and the business, so removing it would destroy the proof rather than the exposure. It holds no message content.
